Cinema Space presents a newly restored version of the 1957 Stanley Kubrick film Paths of Glory, which stars Kirk Douglas as Colonel Dax, the leader of French soldiers in the First World War who stands up for his troops when they are unable to carry out a mission and are accused of cowardice. The war drama also stars Ralph Meeker, Adolphe Menjou and George Macready.

Get tickets to attend a performance of Stick Man, based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler featuring puppetry and songs. Book tickets for the Short+Sweet Festival, a showcase of 10 ten-minute plays in a variety of genres that feature locally based actors, writers and directors. Catch the opening of The Colours of Life, an exhibition of works at Etihad Modern Art Gallery by award-winning Emirati master artist Abdul Qader Al Rais, which includes oils and watercolours inspired by the architecture and landscapes of the UAE. TrainZSC is a vertical training event where you can run the 884 steps of the National Stadium at Zayed Sports City in a great workout that starts with a warm-up, ends with a cool-down and includes a fitness challenge at each quadrant focusing on arms and core. Plus, take part in the new, weekly express fitness classes. This week’s 20-minute class, led by trainers from The Room, focuses on functional core exercises and is split into groups for beginner and intermediate participants.
