You’ve all seen the YouTube videos – dogs love snow. The white stuff usually garners a confused yet excitable reaction from pups, but is something many dogs in the UAE will not have experienced.

But Ski Dubai is giving dog owners the chance to change that by hosting a special day that allows them to bring their four-legged friends for fun in the snow on Friday, February 14.

The one-off event is being hosted in conjunction with My Second Home, a dog daycare centre in Dubai, to celebrate the launch of new film The Call of the Wild, which tells the story of a dog uprooted from its life in California to Alaska.

The event, which is being run in collaboration with Vox Cinemas, will see My Second Home film your dog’s first reaction to snow, as they play on Ski Dubai’s famous indoor slope. In total, 15 dogs will take part in the experience.

To be in with the chance to win the opportunity, you’ll need to take a picture or video of your dog’s reaction when you pick them up from My Second Home Dubai, and submit your entry on Facebook or Instagram to @mysecondhomedubai before Wednesday, February 12.

The winners will be selected by a panel of judges from My Second Home, Ski Dubai and Vox Cinemas. As well as having the chance to bring their dog to Ski Dubai, they will also receive two tickets to the premiere of The Call of the Wild in Dubai.
