The UAE's first Emirati Children's Day, as announced earlier in the week by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, is trending on Twitter (#يوم_الطفل_الإماراتي) We take a look at some of the posts.
@YearofZayed celebrated with this tweet honouring UAE Founding Father Sheikh Zayed's dedication to the children of the Emirates. Here he is pictured in 1973 on a visit to a school in Ras Al Khaimah with some of its pupils.
Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Omar Al Olama posted a picture of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, with school children.
