Dubai’s youngsters are being encouraged by Hilton Hotels and Resorts to get creative and let their imaginations run riot this December, by drawing pictures of Santa Claus as if he were in the city (think along the lines of elves on the sand, or reindeer flying through the air with Santa and sleigh past the Burj Khalifa). The competition is running now and will close on December 25, with the three best drawings being awarded prizes the following day.
Dining outlets in three Hilton hotels (Dubai Jumeirah, Dubai The Walk and Dubai Creek) are running the contest, which is open to resident and non-resident guests alike, with drawing workstations available that are equipped with crayons and paper. Any child up to the age of 12 can participate and each work of art is to be displayed within the hotels for the duration of the festive season. If you need some motivation to get your youngsters participating, it’s worth noting that the prizes include a weekend stay for the family at one of Hilton’s hotels in Dubai, brunch for four people at BiCE and a dinner for four at the highly regarded Table 9 restaurant.
