As hotels, gyms and other leisure facilities in Dubai begin to reopen, life is gradually returning to some version of normal.

With that, Privilee, the popular fitness and leisure membership programme, has re-launched, offering gym and beach access at select venues as they begin to reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Members who sign up get exclusive and unlimited access to a number of Dubai's well-known beach and gym venues seven days a week.

There's also a summer membership offer, priced at Dh1599 for three months of unlimited access.

"Not only will the lifestyle platform provide multiple venues to visit over the summer months, it will also provide peace of mind by only opening access to venues that meet and adhere to the government's health and safety requirements," a statement reads.

Membership provides access for adults and children (in some cases) to a select number of venues at the moment. And for now, this is restricted to Dubai.

For beach clubs and resorts, this includes: The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina; Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection; Riva Beach; Jumeirah Zabeel Saray; Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort; Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort and Sofitel The Palm Dubai.

Gyms include StudioRepublik, 9Round Fitness, Instabody and Fly High Fitness. There is also a separate list of hotel gyms.

This list is being updated every day and Privilee will keep members updated via social media platforms, text message and the app, which has been updated to include a booking system, so that partner venues can manage occupancy levels and continue to adhere to governmental requirements regarding social distancing.

If you're not ready to return to the beaches and gyms, then you do not have to restart your membership right away. When you are, you can also do this through the app.

Pricing for the different membership options can be requested via the website.
