It's been an autumn full of travel for Britain's Royal Family – and the official engagements aren't letting up soon. Following in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who visited South Africa last month, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who recently returned from Pakistan, Prince Charles is set to embark on an overseas visit.

The Prince of Wales will travel to India next month for a two-day engagement, Clarence House confirmed today. The heir to the throne will land in New Delhi on Wednesday, November 13, marking his second trip to the country in two years, following his last visit in 2017.

The latest engagement will focus on "sustainable markets, climate change and social finance", Clarence House added in a statement on social media, as well as "celebrate British-Indian connections".

Details of Prince Charles's itinerary are set to be revealed in the near future, but the royal will mark his 71st birthday in India on Thursday, November 14.

The heir last visited India in November 2017, accompanied by his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, as part of a royal tour than also encompassed Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia. In total, next month's solo visit will mark Prince Charles's 10th trip to the South Asian nation.

Following his engagements in New Delhi, the Prince of Wales will journey to New Zealand, where he will be joined by the Duchess of Cornwall for a five-day visit.

Prince Charles will then continue to Tuvalu and the Solomon Islands while the duchess will return to the UK.

The announcement of the royal's India visit comes a week after Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge completed a four-day trip to the neighbouring country of Pakistan.
