The King and Queen of the Street were crowned at the fourth and final round of this year’s Yas Super Street Challenge, which saw more than 50 modified cars battle it out at Yas Marina Circuit’s drag strip.
Yousef Mohamed Yousef and Bublik Olena took the respective overall crowns, with the latter becoming the competition’s first Queen of the Street, as the field took home a total of Dh132,000 of cash prizes.
The series, which began in mid-January and culminated in this weekend’s two-day event, saw competitors race head-to-head across five categories, including a 4x4 face-off.
Both winners had gone into the final round leading their categories – Yousef in the 4x4 standings and Olena in the Open rankings.
