Looking for a quicker way to get to work? How about hitting more than 160kph off-road with the newly revealed Ram Rebel TRX concept truck?
With a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine, the 575hp pick-up promises “extreme” performance, as well as “severe-duty” wheel axles to handle the rigours of going off-road at such speeds.
The concept takes design cues from the existing Power Wagon and Rebel trucks, although that horsepower figure is almost 200hp up on the regular Rebel.

Massive 37-inch tyres help to give significant ground clearance, with a “baja” driving mode for the fastest off-roading – or, as its makers put it, “the ability to clear miles of desert in the blink of an eye”.
