A car that featured in the James Bond film Spectre is up for sale in Abu Dhabi this month. On Saturday, November 30, the classic Jaguar stunt car will be sold at a collaborative auction by Yas Marina Circuit and Sotheby's during the Abu Dhabi F1 weekend.

The inaugural Grand Prix Auction will take place at Yas Marina Circuit, with the 2015 Jaguar C-X75 on the list. The car was driven by villain Mr Hinx (Dave Bautista) in Spectre. It is expected to bring in between $800,000 to $1.2 million (Dh2.9m to Dh4.4m)

The car, chassis No 001, is one of the Jaguar C-X75s used as stunt cars in the film and is a version of a never-produced Jaguar concept car. It was built in partnership with Williams Advanced Engineering.

The car was featured in a chase through the streets of Rome, in pursuit of 007’s Aston Martin DB10.

The auction can be watched by spectators with Paddock Club tickets during the Formula One weekend, as well as those who have registered. People will also be able to see the classic cars in a purpose-built giant tent in the main oasis.

According to organisers, it will be the Middle East's first major international collector-car auction.
