In a few days time, Porsche fans will be able to salivate at the German marque's stunning new supercar when the North American International Auto Show opens on Monday in Detroit. Porsche is sending out a strong message that the fight for supercar supremacy is well and truly on - this sharp, sexy machine is a clear competitor to the McLaren MP4-12C and the Ferrari 458 Italia. This all-wheel-drive supercar will be powered by a 600hp twin-turbocharged V8 engine, top speed is expected to exceed 300kph and the 0-to-100kph sprint will be achieved in less than four seconds. But if you want one of these in your garage, you will have to be a little patient - it is not expected to go on sale until 2014.
