The XF, now with a V8, is another demonstration of the company's revitalisation under the ownership of India's Tata.
iSpy: Jaguar XF
Powerful and stately, especially in its V8 incarnation, the Jaguar XF is part of the Cat's stunning resurgence under the ownership of Tata, the Indian automaker. It has been in production since 2008 and these shots, snapped in the snow, show that although the next model won't be a radical departure from the current design language, it is getting spruced up. It looks as if the new XF will resemble the XJ with sturdy front and rear ends. The interior of the current model has been met with critical acclaim and the new version will probably get a few upgrades and refinements. There could also be new, or modified, engines. Purists will be alarmed to know there may be an XF wagon planned. Will this be a case of the Cat straying too far from home? Would an XF wagon cop the same criticism as some of the cars featured on page mo8 of this issue?
