The significantly larger new Range Rover is expected to be introduced late next year.

This spy photograph catches a 2013 Range Rover prototype wearing a full production body. The model is heavily disguised, but it can be seen that the car will feature a clamshell bonnet, massive headlights and a sloping roofline. It also appears significantly larger, which should result in additional rear-seat legroom and added cargo capacity. Engine options will likely carry over from the current model, but it's also expected that a hybrid and plug-in hybrid variant will borrow technology from the Range e concept. Information is limited, but previous reports have indicated the Range Rover will have an aluminium chassis that is being developed with the assistance of Jaguar. Thanks to this change, the vehicle could be up to 400kg lighter than the current model. The redesigned Range Rover could be introduced late next year.
