There's a host of soaring towers competing for attention in the shadow of Burj Khalifa - and now a new addition has joined the Downtown Dubai skyline, attempting to set itself apart.
The 118 Downtown comes with just 26 full-floor residences, but a lofty price tag of Dh27 million.
Central to its offering is convenience, as residents can make use of the personalised concierge service, while the Dubai Mall is a short walk away.
The penthouse comes with four bedrooms, 4.2m-high ceilings and two interior design schemes - Contemporary and Classic - with fittings provided by the likes of Kohler and Miele.
It also comes with three oversized parking bays and chauffeur's accommodation on the podium level complete with private elevator.
“Its exclusiveness lies not only in the limited number of residences, a far cry from the large volumes found in other developments across the city, but also in the genuine service standards in the concierge and valet services," said Jason Hayes of LuxuryProperty.com, which is marketing the development.
Property prices in Dubai have been sliding during the past couple of years amid weak economic growth and an increase in supply.
Apartment prices in the fourth quarter of 2017 dropped 4.2 per cent year-on-year, according to JLL, although off-plan sales soared. Prices are expected to continue to fall during this year.
