Love was in the air for Fouz Al Fahad this week, as the Kuwaiti beauty influencer tied the knot in a chic but small ceremony.

The social media personality and entrepreneur, who owns The Real Fouz Beauty Salon in Kuwait's 8 Mall, revealed she had married her fiance on Tuesday, March 17.

"The day you made me the happiest woman in the world," Al Fahad, 29, told her 3 million Instagram followers as she shared a photo from the day.

The influencer also told fans on Snapchat that the coronavirus outbreak had forced her to postpone her original wedding plans.

She instead tied the knot in front of just a few close family members, as large gatherings are currently dissuaded.

“I really wanted to celebrate today which is the most important day and the first day of my new life with – I’m not going to say followers – but my family and friends," she said in a clip shared on her account.

“Enshallah the joy will be double when all the people get better and we are over this pandemic, and we celebrate my wedding.

"We had to push our plans in accordance with the government laws and for everyone’s safety, but today I’m going to show you what I’ve been able to put together.”

Little is known about the influencer's new husband, and the image shared obscures his face. Al Fahad has, however, been wearing an engagement ring on Instagram since April 2019.

Fellow social media personalities such as Lebanese influencer Lana El Sahely, blogger Mahmoud Sidani and Kuwaiti model and blogger Rawan Bin Hussain were among the first to congratulate Al Fahad and her husband on their nuptials.

The beauty star also shared clips of the big day on her Snapchat channel, giving fans an inside glimpse into the ceremony.

Al Fahad wed in a room laden with fresh flowers, from bouquets of cream roses to delicate hydrangea, while crystal candleholders added extra sparkle.

For the occasion, the bride wore a trend-setting jumpsuit, embellished with sequinned stripes, sheer panels and a slim belt.

Al Fahad also shared a peek at a jewellery set gifted to her by her new husband, as well as her new wedding ring, which sits alongside her large emerald-cut engagement ring.

The star, who also has her own make-up line, ByFouzBeauty, was born and raised in Kuwait, and is known for sharing fashion and beauty looks on her social media pages.
