After a tense ten-week run, this year's Man of the Philippines UAE 2018 pageant came to an end with Ian Rowe Giron being crowned as the competition's winner.
The thirteen contestants were judged in ten categories, including congeniality, formal wear and swimwear. The panel of judges was led by Nadia Lee Cien Shami, Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) International 2007.
The most outstanding and competitive section of the pageant was the creative national costume segment (see our gallery above) which was won by Roland James Delgado. Candidates worked with their designers (many of whom are UAE based) to design costumes inspired by Filipino fiestas, culture and tradition.
Giron and runner-up Kevinson Pineza De Ocampo, who was crowned Man of the Philippines Dubai, will both represent the Filipino community in the UAE when they take part in the Man of the Philippines pageant in Manila in November.
