2. Magnificent metals
Artwood's engineered wood flooring comes in a vast range of colours and finishes. The UK-based company uses high-grade sustainable European oak and prides itself on its creative approach. Its eye-catching Precious Metals collection is inlaid with real gold and silver, which delicately highlights the natural grain of the timber. If you're looking for a sure-fire way to glam up your space, look no further.
3. Rich pickings
Furniture by luxury Italian brand IPE Cavalli is now available from Aati stores in Dubai. The company's new Visionnaire collection of upholstery and lighting is rich, textured and brimming with neoclassical references. It features a sumptuous palette of materials, ranging from beautiful leathers and fabrics to marble, smoked glass, stainless steel and wood.

4. International appeal
We've only recently been introduced to the work of Beirut-born interior architect Vick Vanlian. Vanlian first visited the Milan Furniture Fair when he was 10 years old and has since built a successful career designing interiors. He is in the process of opening a dedicated V World boutique in Beirut and his products, which are original, ultra-modern and a bit wacky, have earned him a place at the top of our one-to-watch list. We love the Globe Trekker collection, which is made from vintage leather suitcases.

5. Giving thanks
We're excited about the launch of new furniture brand THNXXx - pronounced "thanks". International design duo Harry & Camilla, who are best known for their mysterious, futuristic creations, are responsible for the artistic direction of the brand and are committed to creating a collection that is "inspiring, inviting, joyful, charming and democratic". Here's hoping it hits our shores soon.
