Mature gardens and a private pool make this the ideal family home – but the location may not be ideal for all.

Features The 5,700-square-foot property is in the Ponderosa district of The Villa Project, one of Dubai's newer residential developments. The project consists of large four-, five- and six-bedroom Spanish-style villas.

Pros The ground floor is home to a living and dining area, office, laundry room, guest bedroom and separate kitchen. Two en suite master bedrooms are set on the first floor, along with two children's rooms. The villa also has a beautifully landscaped garden and private pool.

Cons The furniture may not be to everybody's taste and rent has to be paid in one cheque.

They say A stunning family home.

We say This is a well-appointed, reasonably-priced property and we love the garden and pool. But the location of The Villa Project, near Academic City and the Dubai Bypass Road, may not be convenient for some.
