Homewares store Jysk may once have been described as the poor man’s Ikea, but the clean lines, durable materials and on-trend shapes and shades of its furniture belie any aspersions cast on the quality of its offerings.
Founded by Lars Larsen in Denmark in 1979, the group has stores in more than 45 countries, with its latest store opening on February 28 at Umm Suqeim Street in Dubai.
The Dubai store of Jysk (pronounced "yusk"), located a few doors from Marina Home, will house a range of beds, couches, chairs, tables, garden furniture, textiles, duvets, pillows, mattresses and accessories. The prices in the picture gallery above, which have been further slashed, are valid until April 19 – 50 days of discounts to mark the group's 50th store.
