1 Desirable digi-prints

Maison d’Art has unveiled the latest collection of cushions by Christian Lacroix. The range consists of 12 pieces and is characterised by striking digital prints, embroidered illustrations, rich cut velvets and delicate silks. It’s a decidedly decadent way to spruce up your sofa.

2 Urban legends

Versace Home’s autumn/winter collection is out now. Brimming with trademark motifs and presenting a “bright new take on traditionalism”, the collection features furniture, accessories and wallpaper for every room in the house, with bedroom collections that offer a darker, more urban aesthetic than usual.

3 Scents of place

If your standard scented candle just isn’t cutting it, then it’s time to turn to the experts. The One stocks a range of soy-blended candles and aromatic diffusers by Calvin Klein, which are bound to satisfy even the most discerning noses.

4 A stylish read

Tricia Guild, the designer, author and founder of the Designers Guild, has a new book on sale. Colour Deconstructed is a 208-page hardback that offers insight into Guild’s distinctive style and colour preferences, but also explores why we’re drawn to certain colours and offers advice on implementing specific colours in our own homes.

5 Monogrammed magic

The current president of the British Institute of Interior Design, Sue Timney, has spent the last 30 years working in the design industry. Known for her use of distinctive black-and-white graphics, the self-confessed “Mistress of Monochrome” has just launched a new collection of monogrammed cushions, available exclusively from The Rug Company.
