The limited edition Nespresso Dragon Collection celebrates the Year of the Dragon.

Nespresso has partnered with Chinese lifestyle brand Shanghai Tang to develop a limited edition collection of products that celebrates the "spirit of coffee". The collection was also designed to mark the fact that 2012 is the Year of the Dragon according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
The limited edition Shanghai Tang for Nespresso Dragon Collection includes the CitiZ dragon coffee machine, the ritual cappuccino dragon cup set and two dragon capsule holders, one with a carved stone inlay and the other with a carved silver metal inlay. It was designed by Millicent Lai, chief designer of home for Shanghai Tang, which has a network of 42 boutiques around the world and specialises in ready-to-wear clothing for men, women and children, as well as accessories and homeware.
The star of the collection is the CitiZ coffee machine, which has already earned itself an international Red Dot Design Award. The machine features Nespresso's patented extraction and brewing system, as well as an automatic stand-by mode that helps to reduce energy consumption.
"At Nespresso, creating the perfect cup of coffee is at the heart of what we do. Delighting coffee lovers around the world is why we do it," says Christophe Cornu, the chief commercial officer of Nespresso.
There are only 3,000 sets of the Shanghai Tang for Nespresso Dragon Collection available in select locations around the world. They go on sale in the Nespresso boutique in The Dubai Mall on January 1, with the CitiZ machine retailing at $545 (Dh2,000).
