Give your kids wings

We all know how hard it can be to entertain the kids at times, but we’ve found something we’re sure will excite them - and you. Until November 30, Seawings is giving kids a free ride with every adult ticket sold, so if you’re keen on getting a bird’s eye view of Dubai or Abu Dhabi, now is the ideal time. The two Dubai tours include splendid aerial views of the iconic landmarks of the city such as the Burj Khalifa, Palm Dubai, Burj Al Arab and more. The Abu Dhabi tour includes a take-off from Yas Marina and incredible vistas of the brand new Louvre museum, Emirates Palace hotel, Mina Zayed port and the famous Abu Dhabi corniche. This one is for those with a taste for Indian cuisine. After several months, celebrity chef Kunal Kapur has finally opened his new restaurant within the capital’s Dusit Thani hotel, and from what we’ve seen Namak by Kunal Kapur should almost certainly be on your weekend food hit list. Considered one of the best chefs in India, Kapur has hosted television shows like Masterchef India and Junior Masterchef India, so we know he’s got the goods. The menu includes dishes like Kerala duck roast tart (Dh60) and katafi wrapped tiger prawn (Dh85) which we’re sure will be a hit. Namak is located beside Benjarong and is open for lunch (closed Fridays) and dinner. For more go to www.dusit.com
