The set-up offers kids quirky bean bag seats and there’s a special kiddie food combo that includes a selection of refreshments and healthy snack options and a separate party room with its own entrance and capacity for 40 people.
Picnic brunch in Ras Al Khaimah
If a visit to Ras Al Khaimah is on the to-do list, keep in mind that the Waldorf Astoria’s picnic brunch concept is back for another season. Who doesn’t want to spend a leisurely weekend afternoon on the beach or by the pool on a picnic blanket with the full spread. The brunch is held every Friday from 1pm until 6pm and starts from Dh315 per person, including beach and pool access. For more go to http://news.waldorfastoria.com.
Golden roast coffee
Looking for a way to elevate your weekend coffee experience? Well a visit to Dubai’s Burj Al Arab is in order, with the hotel having introduced a creation they’re touting as the “ultimate gold cappuccino”. The elaborate drink - which comes with an equally elaborate Dh85 price tag - has 24-carat Italian gold blended into the “luscious” foam and is topped with gold flakes. You’ll be richer for the experience, pardon the pun.
