London-based theatre group Angry Bairds is in town to stage an intriguing production called EAT Dubai from January 14-22.

Guests will get to share an intimate dinner with five actors, during which they will be treated to an hour-long theatre performance.

According to one of the founders of two-woman theatre company AB, the evening’s entertainment will be thought provoking:

“It’s about cultural stereotypes, among other things.” says Nazish Khan “It’s directed by Thabit Al Mawaly, a young talented director, and the cast is made up of an Emirati comedian, a laid-back Aussie, an uptight Brit, a singing Filipino and an eccentric, slightly bats French actress.”

A version of the production was performed at the Camden Fringe last year.

The Dubai venue is The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding.

Tickets cost Dh278. To reserve a place, email reservations@angrybairds.com or clicking here.
