Sample Japanese food at Tasting Japan festival

Check out the Tasting Japan food festival at City Walk this weekend. The festival will give visitors the chance to sample authentic Japanese ingredients and products from 15 food sampling booths set up next to Hub Zero. Tasting Japan, which is running as part of the Dubai Food Festival, will serve up authentic Japaese sushi, seasonings, confectionaries, Wagyu beef, teas, juices and more.

Tomo restaurant from Raffles hotel, Kohantei restaurant at Dubai Opera House and Chakon Cafe at Souk Al Manzil will each be serving up signature dishes during the two-day festival. There will be cooking demonstrations, informative sessions about Japanese teas and Japanese drum performances throughout the event.

Tasting Japan will also feature Japanese art demonstrations and perfomrances by Orientarhythm. The festival runs Friday and Saturday (March 3 and 4) from 1pm to 10pm. Free entry
