The original food truck Salt, which drew crowds — or, “Salters” — by the dozen to its Kite Beach location, has opened its latest branch at Dubai’s beachfront promenade La Mer.
Salt’s Surf House offers fans signature favourites (Cheetos burgers et al), as well as a range of exclusive dishes, only available at this branch. These include two new sliders, special fries and a range of “softie bun” desserts. The interiors are inspired by an industrial, beachside surf shop.
The new menu includes: Black Melt, made up of Wagyu beef, barbecue-sriracha sauce, crispy cheese melt and grilled onion served in a black bun; Big Salter, with double Wagyu beef, biggie sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickles and cheese, served in a black double bun; and Surf House Fries, with surf sauce, ranch, grilled onion, pickles, cheese and grilled Wagyu beef.
Finish your meal with a sweet softie bun: choose from Brownie Bun, a warm chocolate chip brownie bun with chocolate softie, brownie crumbs and chocolate fudge; Lotus Bun, a warm lotus brioche bun with lotus softie, lotus crumbs and lotus spread; and Cereal Bun, a warm cereal brioche bun with cereal softie and crushed cereal.
