Dream kit: "Lenses make a big difference - I have a 50mm which I love, but have a wish-list of others including a macro lens (which enables you to shoot really close). A really good camera bag is another thing…I could go on..."
Time spent on the average blog post: "Food blogging is time consuming. Each one takes planning, shopping for ingredients, cooking, styling, photography, post-production of images, uploading, writing of text and recipes etc. Six hours for the whole thing would be a good estimate."
The importance of photographs to a food blog: "You feast first with your eyes. I think it's incredibly difficult to engage readers of a food blog without images. Ellen Silverman has made me rethink though - maybe less is more."
