Ramadan 2019: Enjoy iftar among the animals at Emirates Park Zoo Abu Dhabi
And with extended Ramadan opening hours, there's plenty of time to explore once you've eaten
If you are looking for a family-friendly iftar that offers something a little different, Emirates Park Zoo might just be the answer.
The Abu Dhabi zoo is switching things up this Ramadan by offering guests the chance to dine alongside its wild residents for a series of animal-inspired iftars to celebrate the holy month.
The zoo, which is located in Al Bahia, is staying open until 10pm every day throughout Ramadan, and will be offering its guests two iftar feasts to break their fasts.
At the zoo’s Qasr Al Turath restaurant, traditional Yemeni dishes will be served, while at The Hide, it will be a more international offering.
“Create unforgettable memories with family and friends over an iftar buffet at our restaurants,” a spokesperson for the zoo says. “Featuring a selection of multi-cuisine favourites along with Ramadan juices, it is the perfect place to gather for sharing a meal with your loved ones.”
Emirates Park Zoo is home to more than 1,400 animals, so there will be plenty to keep the family entertained once you have refueled.
The iftar can also be combined with a number of experiences at the zoo, such as climbing and zip wires, for special packages throughout Ramadan.
Packages start from Dh65. For bookings and more information call +971 55 722 50 29.
