The Butcher, one of Europe’s most popular burger restaurants, is set to open its first restaurant in the Middle East.

Arriving in Dubai in the coming months, The Butcher will bring with it its famous patties, chunky chips, and notoriously cool vibes.

The restaurant started life as a pop-up in 2012 in Amsterdam’s bustling De Pijp neighbourhood, before quickly expanding across the city.

Its popularity led the chain to open restaurants in Berlin and Ibiza, but its new Dubai branch will mark its first opening outside of Europe.

The Butcher has become known for its prime Angus beef burgers and steaks, signature sauces and home-made semi-brioche style buns.

While an exact opening date is yet to be set, the restaurant is taking shape in the heart of Dubai’s Marina Walk promenade on the ground floor of The Residences at Marina Gate.

“We’re confident that The Butcher’s latest international expansion will enjoy huge success with Dubai’s vibrant mix of food lovers, family diners, restaurant fans, visitors and residents and help to take the city’s F&B scene to a new level of gourmet excellence and causal cool dining,” says Danny Planter, founder of Dubai hospitality company D&T.
