Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri

All the games will be shown in an air-­conditioned World Cup Arabesque tent where hungry fans can satisfy their ­appetites. Feast on football-themed Friday brunches through June 27. During each brunch, guests can enter a raffle to win a table for six in the tent, which will include drinks and snacks valued at Dh1,000. From 8pm until 2am. For more information, call 02 509 8555.

Jumeirah at Etihad Towers

Chefs at Nahaam have come up with a specially designed World Cup menu and will serve people in the outdoor pool area. The games, including the 2am matches, can be viewed on multiple screens. From 11am until late. For more information, call 02 811 5666.

Crowne Plaza

Watch the games in Heroes at the Crowne Plaza on Hamdan Street, where you can try eight different burgers from eight football countries: Brazil, Australia, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, England and South Korea. From noon until 4am. For more information, call 02 616 6251.

Sofitel Hotel

Get your football fix at Chill’O Pool Bar, which will feature a live Brazilian barbecue as well as other football food favourites such as nachos and sliders. From 9am until late. For more information, call 02 813 7777.

Holiday Inn

You can watch all the World Cup games at Hubbly Bubbly on a huge video wall made up of four 48-inch screens. You’ll be well-fed with its Sepp Blatter platter – a ring of 12 miniburgers from the countries playing in the World Cup. The Sepp Blatter platter is also available at the Thirty 1st Bar. Yas Viceroy

You can watch all the games in style at Rush in the Yas Viceroy on a supersize screen. The nightclub will offer Brazilian-themed menu selections and bar bites throughout the games. InterContinental Abu Dhabi

Fill up on bites from the special sports menu offered at Belgian Cafe during the World Cup. The same menu will also be served under the Saharaa tent where you can watch all the games on two large projector screens and six TVs. From 6pm until 2am before Ramadan. For an authentic Brazilian World Cup experience, hit up the Brazilian churrrascaria Frevo. Surrounded by South American culture, you can appease your taste buds with Brazilian-inspired snacks such as pichanha skewers and fried calamari. All matches played between 8pm and 3am will be shown. At the Vantage Bar and Terrace, if you predict the final score of the match before the game starts, you’ll have the chance to score a 30 per cent food discount on your next visit.
