Looking for a unique after-school programme for your tween? Fairmont The Palm in Dubai is launching an after-school cooking course for budding young chefs. The weekly classes will run from April to June in The Chef’s Palette by Gaggenau — a cooking studio inside the hotel.

The culinary classes will teach tweens the basics of cooking international cuisine with a focus on nutrition. The young chefs will learn to create new dishes each week in classes led by hotel chefs. Students will then get to eat their creations after each class. They’ll also get a personalised chef’s hat and apron.

The 10-week course is designed for kids ages 10 to 14 years. The classes will run on Sundays from 4pm to 6pm from April 23 through June 25. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Dh1,500 per child. To book a space, call 04 457 3457.
