Mo Salah in Dubai: where the Egyptian football star has been dining in the UAE
The sportsman has been spotted at several Instagram-friendly Dubai locations
Egyptian footballer Mo Salah is a regular Dubai visitor.
Now, after months away from the emirate while travel was restricted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Liverpool forward is back in the UAE.
Since arriving last week, the footballer has been spotted out and about at several Dubai restaurants.
On August 5, a fan spotted him dining with a group at Flamingo Room by Tashas, a chic restaurant at the Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel. The scalloped walls, extravagant light fittings and zebra-print chairs were the decorative telltale giveaways that he was at the extremely Instagram-friendly venue.
The fan also pointed out his new haircut, which Salah got after Liverpool's Premier League title victory in June.
It seems that a restaurant's Instagram appeal is a factor when it comes to picking meals out, as Salah has also been spotted at Brunch & Cake, a Jumeirah 1 cafe that has been popular on the social media platform since its October 2019 opening.
At the Barcelona-export cafe, Salah was seen chatting with friends and also posted a picture of his cappuccino, which was decorated with an image of his face.
Mo Salah at Dubai malls
It is not only restaurants in the emirate that Salah has been visiting.
He was seen wearing a face mask as he wandered near what appeared to be the entrance to The Dubai Mall. He was wearing a hoodie and black T-shirt as he smiled and posed for a fan's photo.
Proving that he is truly exploring the breadth of the city, one week ago, Salah posted a photo from Wafi, an Egyptian-themed Dubai mall in the Dubai Creek-adjacent suburb, Oud Metha.
He captioned the picture, "We really are everywhere".
