Michelin-starred chef Thomas Keller has partnered with M H Alshaya Co and is set to launch the first of three Bouchon Bakeries in the Middle East including one in Dubai’s JBR sometime later this year.

The first Bouchon Bakery opened in California in 2003 and has expanded throughout the US. Bouchon Bakery offers classic French boulangeries and a wide selection of artisanal breads and desserts inspired by the chef’s childhood and time in France.

Keller is the first and only American chef to have been award simultaneous Michelin ratings for two different restaurants and currently holds an impressive seven of them: three at Per Se, three at The French Laundry, and one at Bouchon Bistro.

M H Alshaya Co executive chairman Mohammed Alshaya said: “We are very pleased to partner with Bouchon Bakery, which has a well-deserved reputation for excellence, under the leadership of Thomas Keller.

“We look forward to introducing this innovative dining experience to customers in the Middle East and anticipate an exciting future together.”
