Marks & Spencer has opened a second stand-alone food store and M&S Café in the new Springs Souk between The Meadows and The Springs in Dubai.
The food store sells ready-made meals, British foods, bakery items, and chilled and frozen foods (most Brits have an M&S food favourite). There are 1,700 food lines available, including vegetables, salads and oven-ready meals. For special occasions, there is also variety of antipasti, luxury cheese boards and desserts.
There is also a cafe at the outlet, which serves soups, smoothies, sandwiches and pasta, fish and chips and afternoon tea.
The first standalone M&S food store opened on Marina Walk in September 2017, and has proved popular amongst UAE residents. There are also food stores inside the Dubai Festival Centre, Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall and Airport Road branches of Marks & Spencers in Dubai.
The new openings in Dubai follow the British retailer's announcement in May that it is closing over 100 stores in its home market by 2022.
