On Monday, March 21, the annual Gout de France (Good France) event, organised by famed French chef Alain Ducasse and the French Ministry for Foreign affairs and International Development, will pay tribute to the excellence of French cuisine.

Across the globe, 1,500 restaurants and 150 embassies on five continents will participate in the event to honour and celebrate France’s impact on world cuisine. All participating restaurants will serve up a special menu to reflect what French food means to them and will serve it during a one-night only dinner on Monday. Twelve restaurants across the UAE are participating in the worldwide event.

In Abu Dhabi, the participating restaurants are Brasserie Flo in the Venetian Village within The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal; Finz in the Beach Rotana; La Piscine in Al Raha Beach hotel; Le Beaujolais French Bistro on Hamdan Street; Original Fusion in The Mall at World Trade Center; Stills in the Crowne Plaza Yas Island; and The Forge in The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal.

In Dubai, the participating restaurants are Frioul in Souk Madinat Jumeirah; Stay by Yannick Alleno in the One & Only The Palm; Pure Sky Lounge in Hilton Dubai The Walk; Le Classique in Emirates Golf Club; and Vogue Cafe in The Dubai Mall.
