A Monaco restaurant that is renowned as a favourite haunt of the international jet set is expanding into Dubai.

The new Sass Café in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) will be its first foray outside of the southern European country.

The Monaco venue, owned by famed restaurateur Salvador “Sassa” Treves and his son Samy Sass, has been drawing in celebrities and other members of high society for 20 years.

The Dubai branch,  which is owned by Bulldozer Group, will open its doors later this year at the Al Fattan Currency House in DIFC.

“Known for its superb food and impeccable service to an ultra chic clientele, Sass Café will offer the good life of Monaco right here in Dubai,” says a company spokesman.

“The restaurant will feature intriguing and delectable Mediterranean fare, a piano bar for sophisticated entertainment and a terrace with an all access view to the Burj Khalifa.”
