In another victory for Dubai, UberEATS has named it the “healthiest” of all the cities it services, based on a global poll conducted by Uber.

The results show that 20 per cent of all orders placed with UberEATS in Dubai were made from healthy restaurants and cafes such as Poke Poke, Circle Café, Cali-Poke, and Poke Art. The healthiest neighbourhoods included Business Bay, DIFC and Downtown Dubai, with poke bowls being the most in-demand healthy dish ordered.

Meanwhile, even when people weren't specifically opting for healthy restaurants, 25 per cent of all orders were from the healthy sections of the menus on offer -  which feature things like salads, light stir fries and low calorie food bowls. This means that even if there are items like burgers and pizzas on the menu, a good proportion of people are opting for healthier options instead.

The online meal ordering and delivery platform currently offers its services in over 100 cities around the world, including Boston, Rio de Janeiro, Stockholm, Barcelona, and Hong Kong.
