Attention all UAE-based burger lovers - there's a jawbreaker that's set to stretch you to your limits if you dare this weekend.
On Thursday, August 31, Wavebreak Beach Bar & Grill at the Hilton Jumeirah Hotel is hosting a Jawbreaker Challenge.
During the hours of noon and 10.30pm the establishment will be serving up a limited edition burger weighing a whopping two kilograms that is packed with juicy meat patties, cheese, beef bacon, onions, guacamole and condiments.

The Jawbreaker doesn't come cheap with a price tag of Dh99 (including a soft drink to wash it down). The good news is that if you manage to gulp the 2kg offering within half an hour, you'll get it free.
The event is in honour of National Burger Day, which was celebrated in the United Kingdom late last week.
For those with a smaller appetite there will be other options including a burger platter that comes with four offerings: an Angus beef burger, corn-fed chicken burger, Welsh lamb burger and sweet potato rosti burger (vegetarian).
