Five of the world's best chefs will turn up at the first international edition of the BBC Good Food Show this December. This is the first time the show has been held outside the UK in the show's 25-year history.
Headlining the event are: British celebrity chef James Martin; English celebrity baker Paul Hollywood; Food Network UK star Andy Bates (who is known for his love of street food); British star chef Silvena Rowe (who has three restaurants in Dubai and lives here part-time); and the highly acclaimed chef Atul Kochhar, who is the first Indian chef with a restaurant to earn a Michelin star.
The chefs will show off their cookery skills in front of a live audience in the show’s culinary theatre. They will also take questions and offer tips on the interview stage and sign copies of their cookbooks, which will be on sale throughout the event.
The show should be a hit for food-lovers in the UAE. In addition to appearances by celebrity chefs, the show will also have a retail area where more than 80 seasonal and regional producers will have their wares on display.
The BBC Good Food Show will be at the Dubai World Trade Centre from December 17 — 19. Early bird tickets are available from now until November 10 for Dh75 for two tickets. After November 10 — and at the door — tickets will be Dh75 per person. There are also VIP ticket options available.
