Jones the Grocer has introduced yet another new burger — this time, it's the kimchi burger. The burger is loaded with Korean style braised beef, kimchi slaw and Korean barbecue sauce. The chefs at Blue Grill in Yas Island Rotana are welcoming summer with a special asparagus menu today (May 7) through May 24. The chefs will use green and white asparagus to create new dishes such as the white asparagus veloute, which includes a mix of herbs, asparagus, gnocchi and shrimp or the asparagus salad with crabmeat, garlic and herb-marinated tomatoes with a walnut dressing. El Chico, a Mexican restaurant from the US, has just opened a third branch in the UAE at the World Trade Center Mall in Abu Dhabi. The restaurant made its debut at a county fair in Texas in 1926. It first permanent location opened 14 years later. The restaurant set up shop in Dubai on JBR's The Walk in 2008 and has a recently opened branch in Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi. The new branch at World Trade Center Mall adds to the restaurant's expanding portfolio, with a growing number of branches across the world and several branches in a handful of states in the US. www.elchico.com
