What used to be Truckers DXB – and is now Truckers UAE – is hosting its popular open-air food fair on Saturday, October 26 at Emirates Golf Club, Dubai.

Expect bite-sized treats from dozens of food trucks, plus a live band of local artists from 3pm to 11pm. Elsewhere, home bakers and designers will display their wares at the craft market, while there will be plenty of children’s activities to keep the little ones happy-busy.

Best of all, the licensed event is free to attend for all ages (you’ll have to pay for your grub as you go, of course), and also offers free golf lessons and sessions.

While the organisers are still adding food trucks to this year’s "backyard party", some confirmed names include: 1762 Smoked (barbecue), Moshi (sushi), Moylos (burgers), Mom's Crepe (sweet and savoury varieties), Wingsters and Frings (American chicken wings, strips and pulled burgers) and the all-new Kubbah (Middle Eastern cuisine).

All-American cuisine is served at the Frings food truck.

Parking is available, ATMs are not – although the venue is but a minute-long walk from Nakheel metro station.

Saturday, October 26; 3pm to 11pm; free entry; Emirates Golf Club, Dubai
