Five things to do today: check out art exhibitions and take free Spanish lessons

Our round-up of things to do in the UAE today. Take a free Spanish course, attend a lecture about the UAE's history or attend an art exhibition.

see the exhibition No Man's Land. Through Alex Kirkbride's and Ali Bin Thalith's works, the viewer is submerged in a realm where the ordinary becomes extraordinary when seen under several metres of water. enjoy the works in the exhibition Temporary Permanence. This exhibition features works by six Sri Lankan artists, including sculpture, works on paper, oil on canvas and mixed-media works.
