Five things to do today: attend a lecture on tracking birds in the UAE

Also, see an exhibition by a French impressionist painter in Abu Dhabi; sign the kids up for rock school; visit Al Ain Zoo at night; and attend the Office Exhibition 2013 in Dubai.

1. Join the Emirates Natural History Group this evening for a talk on Satellite Tracking of Migratory Birds by Salim Javed of the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD). The agency started a programme in 2005 that tracks the movements of greater flamingos. 4. Hang out with the animals at the night zoo. Al Ain Zoo has changed its hours to summer timings, allowing visitors to enjoy the cooler evening hours. 5. Attend The Office Exhibition 2013 in Dubai, where vendors are selling all manner of international design products for commercial, retail, health care and education sectors.
