Until about 6pm UAE time on Wednesday, October 4, you can bid for actress Audrey Hepburn’s personal items, which are currently being auctioned online at Christies.com

The on-site auction, which was held at the end of September at Christie’s London, was a clear indication of just how investment-worthy the actress’s memorabilia is. For instance, her working script for the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s sold for £632,750 (Dh3 million), almost seven times more than its estimated price. The item also broke the world record for a movie script.

Likewise, Hepburn’s Tiffany bangle fetched Dh1.6 million (it was estimated at Dh25,000); her Givenchy gown went for Dh335,000 (estimate: Dh73,000); and her Cartier lipstick holder sold for Dh275,000 - almost 19 times its pre-sale estimate.
