Naomi Campbell's YouTube cameraman spotted wearing full hazmat suit by eagle-eyed fans
'She does not play,' one Twitter user quipped of her quarantine filming etiquette
Naomi Campbell has already made her feelings on coronavirus precautions abundantly clear, after going viral in March for travelling in a full hazmat suit.
And it seems she expects those around her to follow the same measures, after eagle-eyed fans spotted the cameraman filming content for her YouTube channel dressed in full protective gear.
In a video uploaded to her "Being Naomi" channel on Saturday, the supermodel looked back over her favourite Met Gala look and tried on some of her other favourite gowns in her closet.
“This dress that I have on now, I’ve never worn it.” Campbell says while trying on a vintage caped dress. “This dress is Ossie Clark, it’s from 1967, it’s a vintage. I just felt like putting it on today.”
While Campbell was modelling the dresses, viewers spotted a reflection of the cameraman in a glass staircase, wearing a full hazmat suit and mask.
Posting a screenshot to Twitter, a fan said: “Obsessed with Naomi Campbell’s quarantine cameraman filming her for her YouTube channel.”
The tweet has since been like more than 110,000, with hundreds of fans commenting to praise the model.
“She does not play. I love it,” wrote one user. Another added: “Safety First NEXT LEVEL.”
“You know she had a whole box of those suits already in her closet,” another fan responded.
Campbell has responded to the tweet, saying that the video was actually filmed on March 11, the same day she was spotted travelling in a full hazmat suit. Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: “I have over two years of banked footage that we continually take from during the editing process. I hope everyone continues to practise social distancing and follow the rules of our health experts.”
