World-famous hijabi model Mariah Idrissi is no stranger to the jet-setting lifestyle, and it looks like she's feeling right at home in the UAE.

The 27-year-old touched down in Abu Dhabi last week and has been busy exploring all the capital has to offer. Her first activity of the trip appeared to be an Abu Dhabi desert safari experience – complete with a picture of her posing with a falcon.

“Today was incredible, one of the best days I’ve had in a while. Thank God for this carousel thing because I would have flooded your feed with pics. Good times – more to come,” she captioned the post.

The model was also spotted exploring Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. “I loved every minute of my experience in Abu Dhabi, I can’t believe this was my first proper visit,” the model told her Instagram followers.

Idrissi then travelled to Dubai for the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature for the launch of the book Modesty: A Fashion Paradox, for which she's the cover girl. Soon afterwards, she was spotted exploring parts of Dubai, from Palm Jumeirah to Dubai Marina.

She also shared pictures of the Burj Khalifa as an Instagram story to her 89,000 followers.

Idrissi rose to global fame after she appeared in H&M’s Close the Loop campaign in 2015 sporting a hijab and was widely praised as the first veiled fashion model to star in a campaign for the Swedish fashion giant.

She was later signed to a modelling agency, and went on to become a leading face and voice for modest fashion, globally.
