Musician Emeli Sande and model Adwoa Aboah were among a group of activists to make a powerful statement about the Grenfell Tower disaster at the opening of London Fashion Week.
Standing in solidarity with survivors of the tower block fire, in which 72 people died, the stars wore T-shirts featuring the message: “72 dead and still no arrests? How come?”
The T-shirts, designed by Grenfell Speaks and SplitSquare Designs, mimic Martin McDonagh's 2018 Oscar-winning film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and a campaign which followed in London last year.
DJ Becky Tong and models Clara Paget and Heydon Prowse also joined the group, which aimed to bring the disaster back into the limelight.
Faisal Metalsi, who runs Grenfell Speaks, told the Evening Standard: "We created the T-shirts as a way to remember the 72 who died and bring it back to why, as a community, we do what we do in terms of campaigning and social justice. It's amazing to have backing from such famous people."
