Kendall Jenner had quite the Midas touch this weekend.

The American model, who turned 24 on November 3, donned a gleaming, golden mini dress for her star-studded birthday party, held in Los Angeles on Friday.

For the occasion, the reality TV personality transformed into a glimmering "forest fairy", complete with delicate wings and an intricate branched crown.

To complete the look, Jenner donned a metallic corset by Kuwaiti designer Yousef Al Jasmi, finished with a dramatic dusting of plumes.

The model also posed with two white horses in a series of images shared with her 118 million Instagram followers, in a scene reminiscent of something from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (but the Instagram/reality TV version).

Jenner was joined at the lavish costume party, held at West Hollywood's Blind Dragon, by several of her A-list friends, including fellow models Gigi and Bella Hadid, sisters Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian, and Hailey Bieber.

Al Jasmi's eponymous label has dressed many of the world's most recognisable names, from Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears to Beyonce and Taylor Swift.

Most recently, the Kuwaiti designer crafted a gown for Celine Dion's world tour, which the Think Twice singer wore as she kicked off her run of shows in Quebec in September.

Al Jasmi, who established his brand in 2007 and has garnered headlines in recent years for his crystal-encrusted gowns, has also previously dressed Jenner, including for Kris Jenner's 60th birthday in 2015.

The designer was in Dubai this week to take part in the just-wrapped season of Fashion Forward, showcasing a collection of glamorous gowns on the runway on November 1.
