Who won the awards and who wore what at the IIFA Awards? Find out here. Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Radhika Apte, Preity Zinta, Sara Ali Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Madhuri Dixit, Rekha, Urvashi Rautela are just some of the celebrities you'll see on the IIFA Awards red carpet in the gallery above.

Wednesday night was dubbed the biggest night in Hindi film's homecoming, as it took place in the heart of Bollywood, Mumbai for its 20th edition, whereas it's usually held further afield.

Scroll down to see who all the IIFA Awards 2019 winners were: Raazi took home best picture and Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were the top actress and actor of the year.

On the red carpet, which is actually famously green, Sara Ali Khan opted for a white strapless gown by Gaurav Gupta, while Daisy Shah wore a sparkling waterfall hem gown and Deepika Padukone wore a feathered and sequinned lilac look:

The IIFA Awards are effectively the Hindi film industry's equivalent of the Oscars, and so are always an extraordinarily star-studded affair.

Ranveer Singh began the night by starting a rendition of Mere Gully Mein while standing in the crowd. He then, however, hopped up on stage, and his performance was extravagant (as you'd expect from the star).
