Givenchy designer Clare Waight Keller sure has been busy. Fresh from creating the wedding dress for Britain's newest royal, Meghan Markel, Waight Keller has now dressed music royalty Beyoncé and Jay Z.
The French house has created customs for the couple’s On the Run II tour, which kicked off in Cardiff on June 6, and will run for 48 dates across Europe and North America.
Naturally, Waight Keller went all out for the duo’s outfits, and the intricate work of an haute couture gown resurfaced for Beyoncé's final look: a black body suit with an oversized pussy bow, matched with a full-length, (detachable) tiered net skirt. The look was covered in tiny crystals, which had all been applied by hand..
Jay Z stepped out in an all-white, double-breasted tuxedo, worn over a low-necked matte silk T-shirt, the only adornment being a huge necklace.
Although this is the first time Waight Keller has designed outfits for the pair, it is not the first time for Givenchy. The house, when it was under Riccardo Tisci, helped dress the couple for the first On The Run tour in 2014.
