Dubai's Safa Park was lit up tonight by the string lights of a big top, the setting of Dior's much anticipated spring 2019 Dubai haute couture show.
The bedazzling collection, which was first shown in Paris in January, offered a high-fashion twist on a circus theme, with models walking the runway in ruffled playsuits, hand embroidered gossamer skirts, caped Bar jackets and sequined gowns.
In a nod to the host city, Dior's formidable artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, created 15 special looks, including stunning knife-pleat metallic gowns and a colourful, ruffled polka dot skirt with a tiered, trailing cape that closed the show.
